• Member of the Scientific Council of the French Foundation on Research for Biodiversity (FRB) since 2008
• Member of the Technical and Scientific Committee of the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) since 2007
• French National Focal Point for the Convention of Biological Diversity’s Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) since 2002.

Previous position
Executive Secretary of the Consultative Process towards an International Mechanism of Scientific Expertise on Biodiversity (IMoSEB) (2005-2008).
Member of the Board of the Institut Français de la Biodiversité (IFB) from its inception in 2000 to 2008.
Background :
 PhD in Geography and Landscape management;
Multidisciplinary background in Environment and Renewable Resource Management;
Extensive research on collaborative management, mediation, and conflict resolution.
